Founded in 1986 by Mrs. Maria Catharina Greeff—the first female attorney and conveyancer in Namibia—the firm has grown from a solo practice into a dynamic legal institution.
Mr. Barend Jacob van der Merwe (Snr) joined as a full partner in 1987 and became Managing Director in 1997, guiding the firm to new heights. In 2016, Mr. Barend Jacob van der Merwe (Jnr) joined as Director, bringing fresh energy and insight.

We proudly present our esteemed legal team, led by Mr. Ben van der Merwe Snr, our Managing Director with over 41 years of experience. He is joined by Ben van der Merwe Jnr, a Director and Legal Practitioner since 2016, who brings fresh insight to the firm. Alicia van Dyk supports the team with dedication while efficiently managing our Body Corporate Collections, and she has written her Conveyancing examinations in November 2025 and is currently awaiting the results. We are also pleased to welcome Quine Manesu Fenyeho to our team, who brings with her 11 years of experience across a wide range of legal practice areas. Mrs. M.C. Greeff, our Conveyancing Consultant, adds over 50 years of expertise. Together, we are committed to providing outstanding legal services with professionalism and care.
